Flooring is a key factor in optimizing the performance of pigs. The purpose of flooring is to provide good
traction, a comfortable surface and durability. Traction bars prevent the sow from sipping when getting up or lying down. The flooring should allow manure to filter readily to maintain a clean, healthy environment for your pigs. Flooring that is easier to clean improves labor efficiency. When the producer increases the sow’s comfort, it facilitates more feed intake which results in heavier weaning weights. This leads to a better return on your investment.

Schonlau Cast Iron & Triangular Steel Creep
Model TS57

Stronger cast iron with greater weight capacity. Self-supporting. Corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized steel creep under the pigs make this the cleanest creep floor with 50% opening in the creep area.

3-gauge woven wire. Self-supporting with cast iron under the sow and corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized steel creep under the pigs.

All Plastic Farrowing Floor

The all plastic floor allows you to drop the temperature level of your facilities by approximately 5 degrees and still maintain a warm and comfortable floor. Reducing your temperature by 5 degrees can save energy costs as follows:

All Cast Iron Floor
Model IC57

All Interlocking ValuCast Slats with SuperBeam accommodates the Double L angled farrowing crate and provides strength and sure-footing for the sow. Every part of the floor can support the sow. Slats can be interchanged to extend life of floor.

 
Galvanized SuperBeams with SureLock design supports the sow in any crate configuration. A steel tab welded on the beam prevents the slats from sliding off the beam.

ValuCast Patch Cast for Farrowing Crates

Patch Cast is an economical way to make older or damaged farrowing floors last longer. By cutting a square section out of the damaged floor, a piece of Patch Cast can be laid in place. Patch Cast is made the same as ValuCast with high/low tranction bars and is a very durable floor.

 

Nursery Grower

Excelerator nursery/grower flooring features 100% rugged polypropylene plastic material that results in a stronger slat. The warm non-conductive material reduces the cost of maintaining a comfortable floor temperature. The perpendicular supports make it extra durable, sturdy, and easy to clean. The deep-ribbing design adds additional strength. The 7/16 inch slot openings provide great filtration, leaving a cleaner floor which helps protect animals from illness-causing bacteria. The reliable interlocking feature allows for easier and faster installation. Less supports are needed compared to other plastic flooring, thus reducing the cost of installation. Excelerator is 24” x 24” and is designed for pigs up to 75 pounds.

 

Advantage Nursery/Grower Floor

Advantage flooring is 24” x 24” and designed for pigs up to 150 lbs. The new hook-over design promotes a cleaner floor. Pressure washing easily removes manure build-up between the slats.


5” PermaBeam

Plastic Clip protects beam from rubbing on concrete. Plastic endcap support secures the beam & can be lagged to the floor.


4” PermaBeam

Plastic end plate secures the beam and can be lagged to the floor.
